THE HM Coastguard helicopter was called to rocks off Anglesey at the weekend.
The Moelfre Coastguard Rescue Team attended a casualty who had fallen on rocks and required urgent medical assistance and evacuation.
With the team on route to the scene near Consuelo Caravan Park in Moelfre, Cemaes Bay Coastguard Search and Rescue were tasked to assist owing to the difficulty posed to safely extract the casualty from the location.

They located the casualty on the rocks below the Charter Monument and offered medical support.
As more team members were arriving on site, the method of extraction was discussed and assessed owing to the tricky position of the casualty.
With few options avaailble, the Rescue 936 helicopter was brought in from Caernarfon to assist and winch the casualty from the rocks.
