A MAN from Gwynedd has been fined and banned from the roads after he was found guilty of drug-driving and of not surrendering to custody.
James Trigg, 35, of Blaenafon, Blaenau Ffestiniog, was accused of driving a Ford vehicle in Tanygrisiau on February 27 with more than 400ug/L of Benzoylecgonine (the main metabolite of cocaine) in his system.
He was also accused of not surrendering to custody at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on July 8, having been released on bail on May 23.
Mr Trigg pleaded guilty to both offences.

At Llandudno Magistrates Court on July 18, he was fined £50 for failing to surrender to custody.
He had previously been fined £120, and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £34 victim surcharge, for drug-driving.
This made a total payment of £289, which he is to pay in monthly instalments of £40 from September 2.
Mr Trigg was also banned from driving for 15 months.
