A MAN has been arrested, interviewed and released on conditional bail amid reports of two acts of criminal damage at a Gwynedd church.
This was at St Baglan's Church, Llanfaglan, with police treating this as an isolated incident.
North Wales Police are encouraging anyone with further information to contact the force.
Inspector Arwel Hughes said: “I, like many people, have been disgusted by the mindless acts of vandalism at Llanfaglan church.
“Despite the rural location of the church, all lines of enquiries are being pursued and forensic opportunities explored.

“An 18-year-old man has been arrested, interviewed and released on conditional bail whilst our enquiries continue, as we suspect the involvement of others.
“I expect further arrests to be made in the near future.
“I’d like to emphasise that we are treating this as an isolated incident, and confirm that it is unconnected to any other recent antisocial behaviour.
“We simply won’t tolerate crimes of this nature, which affect the quality of life for the law abiding majority of citizens in our community.
“I would appeal for any information in connection with this incident to be reported to us via our live webchat online, or anonymously via CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.”
