A MAN from Caernarfon has been ordered to pay in excess of £300 he was found guilty of committing theft from a supermarket.
Robert Parry, 46, of Llys Tryfan, was accused of stealing a paddleboard from Tesco, South Road, worth £199, on May 18.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on July 11.

Mr Parry was ordered to pay the £199 as compensation, as well as a fine of £50.
He must also pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, making a total of £334.
This is to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was also made by the court for deductions from Mr Parry’s benefits.
