POLICE are to step up patrols of an area involving a jetty in Snowdonia after groups of youngsters gathered there yesterday (July 18)
This was at Llyn Padarn, as officers were called to the scene yesterday amid record-breaking hot weather across North Wales.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We received reports yesterday of large numbers of young people gathered, with concerns for safety on the jetty at Llyn Padarn.
“Officers attended the location and gave suitable advice.
“Increased patrols will continue in the area today, and we are also working with local authority partners to ensure those enjoying the good weather do so in a safe and responsible manner.”
