CREW members from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service are currently in attendance at an incident in Holyhead.
This is on Porthdafarch Road.
The service has asked residents living nearby to close windows and doors while firefighters deal with it.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews are currently dealing with an incident on Porthdafarch Road, Holyhead.
“Local residents are advised to stay indoors and close their windows and doors whilst firefighters are dealing with the incident.”
A service spokesperson added: "We are in attendance at Porthdafarch Road, Holyhead.
"There is approximately 400 sq m of gorse on fire.
"We received this call at 12.42pm today.
"We have three crews in attendance."
