THE CHEAPEST places to get unleaded petrol in Anglesey, Bangor and Caernarfon have been revealed as prices near £2 per litre.
The average cost of filling a typical family car with petrol could soon exceed £100 for the first time in the UK.
The average price of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts dropped marginally from 191.6p per litre on July 4 to 190.6p on Monday, 11 July, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The cheapest places for petrol are:
Gulf Gaerwen – 175.9p
Gulf Amlwch – 179.9p
Morrisons Caernarfon – 185.9p
Shell Caernarfon – 185.9p
Texaco Caernarfon – 187.9p
Jet Holyhead – 187.9p
Morrisons Holyhead – 189.0p
The most expensive places for petrol are:
Shell Menai Bridge – 194.9p
Texaco Pentraeth – 193.9p
Texaco Bangor – 192.9p
Tesco Extra Bangor – 191.9p
BP Bangor – 189.9p
Asda Llangefni – 189.7p
