A MAN from Holyhead has been banned from entering a street in the town after he was found guilty of assaulting a woman and causing criminal damage to her property.
Lewis Ford, 26, was accused of assaulting Rebecca Hopkins by beating her, and of damaging her mobile phone, in Holyhead on June 11.
He was found guilty of both offences on July 6 at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court.

Mr Ford was prohibited from entering Bryn Trewan Street for 12 months, and was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work by January 5, 2024.
He must also undertake a maximum of 30 days’ rehabilitation activity.
The court also ordered Mr Ford to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £95 victim surcharge.
This total of £180 is to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was also made for deductions from Mr Ford’s benefits.
