A MAN has been given a suspended prison sentence after stealing booze from Aldi in Bangor.
Gareth Lloyd, 52, was charged with taking alcohol to the value of £29.68 from the store on Garth Road on June 12.

He pleaded guilty to the theft charge at Llandudno Magistrates on July 4.
Taking this into account, Lloyd was given an eight week prison sentence due in part to his previous convictions for similar offences.
The sentence has been suspended for 12 months due to him responding well to post-sentence supervision.
He must pay compensation of £29.68 and costs of £85.
