THE CHEAPEST places to get diesel on Anglesey, Bangor and Caernarfon have been revealed as motorists are warned that average fuel prices will hit £2 per litre this summer.
The average cost of filling a typical family car with petrol could soon exceed £100 for the first time in the UK.
The average price of a litre of diesel at UK forecourts rose marginally from 198.9p per litre on June 27 to 199.5p on Monday, 4 July, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The cheapest places for diesel are:
Gulf Gaerwen – 189.9p
Asda Llangefni – 195.7p
Asda Bangor – 195.7p
Gulf Amlwch – 195.9p
Tesco Extra Bangor – 196.9p
Shell Caernarfon – 197.9p
The most expensive places for diesel are:
BP Bangor – 199.9p
Tesco Holyhead – 199.9p
Jet Holyhead – 199.9
Morrisons Holyhead – 199.9p
Morrisons Caernarfon – 199.9p
Texaco Bangor – 198.9p
Texaco Beaumaris – 198.9p
