A WOMAN who was found guilty of assaulting a man at a laundry in Gwynedd is to undergo alcohol treatment and unpaid work.
Shannon Evans, 27, of Penmaser Road, Porthmadog, was accused of assaulting Jamie Cootes by beating him at Afonwen Laundry, Chwilog on May 11.
She pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on June 20.

Evans was ordered to complete 100 hours’ unpaid work by December 19, 2023, and six months’ alcohol treatment.
She must also pay £75 in compensation, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £20 victim surcharge.
This totalled £180, which she is to pay as a full lump sum within 28 days.
The court also made an application for deductions from Evans’ benefits.
