A MAN from Holyhead who exhibited threatening behaviour towards a woman has received a suspended sentence and a restraining order.
Darren Bates, 39, of no fixed abode, was accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards Jodie Hughes in Holyhead on May 21.
Mr Bates pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 30.

He received a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.
Mr Bates must also not contact Jodie or Trevor Hughes by any means whatsoever, or enter a specified street in Holyhead, until May 29, 2025.
He is to also pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
