A RESIDENT of Caernarfon has been banned from entering a supermarket in Llandudno after being found guilty of committing an assault on its premises.
Sion Roberts, 31, of North Road, was accused of assaulting Graham Cottage at Sainsbury’s, Mostyn Street by beating him on May 11.
Roberts was also accused of failing to surrender to Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on June 6, having been released on bail on May 12.
Roberts pleaded guilty to both offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on June 8.

Roberts was banned from returning to the supermarket for six months, and is to abstain from consuming alcohol for 120 days.
The court also ordered Roberts to undertake a 35-day “Thinking Skills” programme, and to pay £100 in compensation.
This is to be paid as a lump sum within 28 days.
An application was also made by the court for deductions from Roberts’ benefits.
