A MAN from Bangor is to pay in excess of £850 after he was found guilty of assault in Anglesey.
Mohammed Ali, 41, of Friars Road, was accused of assaulting Ian Rothery by beating him in Menai Bridge on September 20, 2021.
He was found guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 27, having pleaded not guilty on February 25.

Mr Ali was fined £360, and ordered to pay £200 in compensation and £300 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This amounted to a total of £860, which he is to pay in monthly instalments of £60 from June 24.
