A MAN from Bangor has been ordered to pay in excess of £200 after he was found guilty of stealing a hip flask in the city.
Paul Hayward, 40, of Lower Penrallt Road, was accused of theft of the hip flask, worth £7.99, belonging to the Trespass store on High Street, on January 29.
He pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on May 26.

Mr Hayward was fined £120, and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £34 victim surcharge.
This amounted to a total payment of £239, to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was also made by the court for deductions from his benefits.
