A WOMAN from Caernarfon has received a fine and a restraining order after she was found guilty of assaulting a man in the town.
Rachel Williams, 42, of Maes Castell, Llanllyfni, was accused of assaulting Mathew Jones by beating him at her home address on October 2, 2021.
She changed her plea to guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on May 25.

Williams was ordered not to communicate with Mr Jones by any means, including social media or a third party, or make references to him on social media, until May 23, 2024.
She must also pay a £50 fine and undertake a maximum of 30 days’ rehabilitation activity.
