A MAN from Llanddulas has been banned from the roads after he was found guilty of driving while under the influence of a controlled drug in Gwynedd.
Justin Stewart, 41, of Abergele Road, was accused of driving an Ford vehicle in the Tal-y-Llyn area of the B4405 in South Gwynedd on November 30, 2021 with three micrograms per litre of blood of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC - the cannabinoid molecule in marijuana).
Mr Stewart pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 25.

He received a one-year disqualification from driving, and was fined £220.
In addition, he must pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £34 victim surcharge.
This total of £339 is to be paid in monthly, £50 instalments from June 24.
