A MAN from Anglesey who was found guilty of theft of drinks and causing criminal damage to a vehicle is to pay compensation and abstain from consuming alcohol.
Stanley Brough, 19, of Tyddyn Mostyn, was accused of stealing four cans of the Monster energy drink, and two bottles of Corona beer, from the Shell Britannia garage in Menai Bridge on April 21 and 23 respectively.
He was also accused of causing criminal damage to a Skoda vehicle at the garage on April 24.
Mr Brough was found guilty of all three offences on May 16 at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court.

He was ordered to abstain from consuming alcohol for 80 days, and pay £500 in compensation.
No further costs were issued, but an application was made for deductions from Mr Brough’s benefits.
He is also to complete a maximum of 15 days’ rehabilitation activity.
