NORTH Wales Police (NWP) are increasing their patrols in the town of Criccieth after reports of issues with antisocial behaviour.
The Gwynedd South Neighbourhood Policing Team will be around the town more often, as part of a concerted effort to ease the worries of residents.
A NWP Gwynedd South spokesperson said: “Following reports of issues of antisocial behaviour in Criccieth, officers from Gwynedd South Neighbourhood Policing Team have increased patrols in the town.

“By engaging with the children and community, we are hoping that we can discourage and deter any problems in the area.
“Please come and talk to us when we’re out ant about, as we always welcome your comments and ideas, particularly as deterring antisocial behaviour is one of our district policies.
