THE Farmers Union of Wales is set to host the first farm breakfast event for the residents of Anglesey since lockdown ended.
Taking place on Monday, 23 May at the Morgan Evans Market Café in Gaerwen, guests will be treated to a delicious breakfast made up of local produce.
For the handsome price of £10 per person, all proceeds will be going to the FUW President’s chosen charity, the DPJ Foundation.
The DPJ Foundation aims to support those in the agricultural sector with poor mental health by providing support, spreading awareness and training those in farming to be aware of poor mental health and its impact.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Anglesey County Executive Officer Alaw Jones said: "After a long two year break we are very excited to be able to host the annual Farmhouse Breakfast once again, although the event is delayed slightly from the traditional FUW January breakfast week due to the rising Covid cases at the time.
“It will be a great opportunity to catch up with members and friends over a plateful of tasty local produce to whom we are extremely grateful to the local butchers, bakeries and suppliers who have kindly donated produce for the event.”
The event will be held between 9.30am and 12.30pm, with Ynys Môn MS Rhun ap Iorwerth and members of the DPJ Foundation also in attendance.
