Paul said: "I'm raising money for two causes that are close to me personally, first cause is 'Gafel Llaw' who raise money for sick children throughout North Wales and donate to hospitals and other projects within the community.
"Secondly, as i'm a retained firefighter, I also want to raise funds for 'Elusen Diffoddwyr Tan' who help with the recuperation of injured and sick firefighters throughout the UK.
"The money i raise will be split 50/50 between both causes, please support these two worthy causes, thank you."
The Welsh Three Peaks challenge takes in Snowdon in the north, Cadair Idris in mid-Wales, and Pen y Fan in the south.
