POLICE have urged parents and guardians to extra care regarding their children’s whereabouts following a rise in antisocial behaviour reports in Bangor.

This includes underage drinking and deliberate fires being started at the city’s disuses Stockwell Steel site.

North Wales Police (NWP) have also encouraged anyone with concerns about such incidents to get in touch.

NWP Gwynedd North said: “There has been an increase in antisocial behaviour, underage drinking and fires being set deliberately at the disused Stockwell Steel site in Bangor.

“Local officers are working together with the Safer Neighbourhood and Arson Reduction team to try and deter/prevent such behaviour.
