A MAN has been ordered to pay in excess of £850 after he was found guilty of driving a vehicle in Anglesey which presented a danger of injury due to its load not being secured properly.
Michael Mottram, 65, of Selby Road, Liverpool, was accused of driving on the A55 in Holyhead in a Volkswagen vehicle with no straps to secure the load, as well as broken clasps.
This was on August 10, 2021.

Mr Mottram pleaded not guilty on February 8, but was found guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on May 6.
He was fined £241, and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £620 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This totalled £895.
Mr Mottram also received three penalty points on his driving record.
