FOLLOWING several reports from the residents of Bethesda about the manner of driving of a silver Volkswagen Golf GTi vehicle, police have been actively patrolling the area looking for it.
Yesterday (May 5), the vehicle was seen driving by one of its unmarked vehicles, but the driver did not stop when blue lights and sirens were illuminated.

Due to the risk involved to members of the public, a pursuit was not initiated, but the car was located abandoned a short time later.
It has been seized and the driver will be dealt with at a later date.
PC Dan Edwards said: "We'd like to thank the local community for their cooperation and for providing the information which means that another accident waiting to happen has been taken off the road.”
