A WOMAN from Holyhead has been banned from the roads and is to pay more than £300 after she was found guilty of drug-driving in the town.
Davina Hughes, 46, of South Stack Road, was accused of driving a Ford vehicle on London Road with 5.3 units of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC - the cannabinoid molecule in marijuana) per litre of blood.
This was on October 18, 2021.
Hughes was found guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on April 25.

She was fined £200, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, to be paid in monthly, £25 instalments commencing May 12.
This amounted to a total payment of £319.
She was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.
