A MAN from Caernarfon has been sentenced to prison after he was found guilty of threatening behaviour and possession of a sharp object in the town last month.
Gabriel Forde, 47, of Chapel Street, was accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards John Elstone, with the intent of provoking unlawful violence against him, on April 23.
On the same day, on Bangor Street, Mr Forde was accused of a possessing a pair of scissors without good reason or lawful authority.

At Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on April 25, he was ordered to serve 26 weeks’ imprisonment; a concurrent sentence for both offences.
The court also ordered that Mr Forde have the scissors confiscated from him.
