POLICE officers in Tywyn have stepped up patrols in its railway station and surrounding area after reports of antisocial behaviour in the region.
North Wales Police (NWP) say they will be working with British Transport Police in the coming weeks to identify those responsible, and encouraged anyone with information about such incidents to report them.

NWP Gwynedd South said: “Tywyn PCSOs (Police Community Support Officers) Ella and Shana have been patrolling around the railway station area of Tywyn following reports of antisocial behaviour around the area and on the trains.
“Our neighbourhood policing team have been working closely with British Transport Police in an effort to identify the persons responsible.
“There will be joint working planned with British Transport Police over the coming weeks, with joint patrols along the Cambrian coast line to Barmouth and Harlech areas.
“Antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated in our communities and we encourage anyone with any information to report this to our local officers via LiveChat or 101.”
