A LARGE amount of domestic heating oil has been stolen near Dolgellau, Gwynedd.
North Wales Police (NWP) have asked for anyone with information regarding the theft to contact them.
NWP Gwynedd South said: “Police are appealing for information following the theft of a large quantity of domestic heating oil from the external oil storage tank located at a rural dwelling near Dolgellau.

“If you have oil storage tanks, there are important security measures that we’d like to remind you of, in order to safeguard your oil supply.
“These include installing a lock on the tank(s), installing an alarm on the tank(s), and regularly checking the heating oil level.
“If you spot any suspicious activity around your own oil storage tanks or those of others, or have any concerns regarding this issue, it is important that you report them to us.”
