A MAN from Gwynedd who was found guilty of assault by beating a woman has been made to pay in excess of £400.
Kevin Parry, 30, of Bro Syr Ifor, Tregarth, was accused of assaulting Gwennan Smith in Tregarth on September 19, 2021.
He pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on April 21.

He was fined £300, and is to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, to be paid in full by June 21, as well as a £34 victim surcharge.
Mr Parry was also accused of drink-driving on the B4409 in Bethesda on the same day, with 54 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath in his system.
This offence was withdrawn.
