ZIP World has shared more footage of what the new “Underground Golf” feature at its site at Llechwedd, Blaenau Ffestiniog is set to look like.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the building of its 19th adventure is underway, with the attraction due to open in May.
You can now have another look at what it will look like below:
“Underground Golf”, a subterranean adventure golfing course set in an old slate mining cavern, is said to be a world-first attraction.
Its adventure course is set to feature 18 holes, across four levels, in a vast underground mining chamber.
Zip World is also looking to deliver an ambitious array of lights, and a sensory experience including sound effects and interactive elements.

The golf will be based on Llechwedd’s history, themed on the slate mining heritage, and will be open to any age, as long as children are accompanied by an adult
It will be accessible courtesy of Europe’s steepest cable railway, while measures including hand sanitisation stations, facemask recommendation and controlled group sizes will also be in place.
“Underground Golf” will be available to book directly at www.zipworld.co.uk, or by calling 01248 601444, from its opening in May.
