A MAN from Bangor is to pay costs and abstain from alcohol consumption after stealing from a shop on the city’s High Street.
Gareth Lloyd, aged 51, of Beech Road, was accused of stealing electrical items worth £88 from Boots on High Street on March 31.
He was found guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court the following day.

Mr Hughes was issued with a community order, prohibiting him from consuming alcohol for 120 days, which will be monitored by the court.
He was also ordered to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and was to remain at his address from 5pm until midnight each day until April 2, when the relevant equipment was fitted.
He was also accused of attempted theft from Boots on Bangor High Street, but this offence was withdrawn.
