A NUMBER of drivers were dealt with by North Wales Police (NWP)’s Gwynedd South team last weekend after a number of driving-related offences in the region.
On Saturday (March 12), a man from Mold was been reported for causing danger or injury to their passenger, and had a further Section 59 notice issued for anti-social driving on Black Rock Sands Beach, Morfa Bychan.
The following day, a further four drivers were issued with Section 59 notices for anti-social driving after reports of speeding and doing “donuts” and handbrake turns on a busy Black Rock Sands Beach.
Also on March 13, a man from the Barmouth area was arrested in Ynys, Talsarnau for drink-driving.
NWP Gwynedd South said: “The male blew 80 at the roadside and 74 on the Intoxilyzer machine in Caernarfon custody.
“That is just over two times the drink-drive limit.
“The male has been charged and a day in court awaits the driver.”
