A GOAT that was trapped in a ravine in Dinorwig Quarry has been rescued.

Honey, a Welsh mountain goat just a few days to a week old, had been trapped under a slate pipe in a ravine of the Quarry.

By chance, she was found by people walking by and taken to the RSPCA in Bryn-y-Maen, before being made aware to Idlewild Animal Sanctuary.

The Sanctuary released an update that said: “She has been on two-hour feeds night and day and is making progress.

“She has seen the vets today and had some treatment that she needed and we are really hoping she keeps making progress.

“Please keep everything crossed for her.”
