REPRESENTATIVES from Gwynedd Council, y Dref Werdd, Nyth, City Energy and Menai Heating will be holding a drop-in session to present information regarding energy matters on Saturday, February 19.

Residents are invited to attend the event, which will be held at Ysgol Tanygrisiau between 11am and 4pm.

There will be the opportunity to ask questions and receive details about energy and about the grants available for boilers and home insulation through Nyth and ECO.

Advice will be available to help with energy costs, and people are encouraged to go along to speak with experts about cutting energy bills, how to heat homes better and reducing carbon footprint.

There will also be an opportunity to exchange bulbs - bring your old used bulbs and take a LED one in its place.

Councillor Craig ab Iago, cabinet member for housing and property, said: “At a time of huge increases in energy bills, we firmly believe that we should do all we can as a council to help the residents of the county.

“That’s why we have been working with our partners to organise this event, in order to provide support and advice on how to make the best use of energy.

“I encourage residents, local and beyond, to come and see us at Tanygrisiau.

“We look forward to seeing you and helping you in whichever way we can.”
