THE FAMILY family of the man who sadly died following the road traffic collision on the Britannia Bridge during the early hours of yesterday morning (Thursday, January 20) have paid tribute to him.
Marc Winston Roberts was 52-years-old and came from the Amlwch area of Anglesey.
His family have issued the following tribute: “Marc was a fun-loving individual who loved life and his job as an electrical craftsman, time spent in his company was enjoyed by friends, family and colleagues alike.
“Although his life has been cut tragically short it was filled with happiness and he shared a unique bond with his four legged “best mate” Leo!
“He will be sadly missed by Jane and Gareth, Carys, Sion and Elin and everyone who knew him for his character and sense of humour. There was never a dull moment around Marc!”
The police investigation to establish the cause of the collision, which happened shortly before 3am and involved two cars and two HGV’s, is ongoing.
The 38-year-old man who was arrested following the collision has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Officers continue to appeal to anybody who may have been travelling in the area and who may have dash cam footage to contact them via the website, quoting reference number 22000045438.
