A man accused of shooting a neighbour to his mouth using an air rifle early on Christmas Day was freed from custody by a court.
David Williams, aged 58, of Maes Isalaw, Bangor, Gwynedd, was charged with attempted grievous bodily harm.
The prosecution at a special court at Mold sought a remand in custody.
But Williams applied successfully for bail until a crown court hearing at Caernarfon next month.
Magistrates ordered him to live at Glan Menai, Treborth, Bangor, and obey an overnight curfew.
