A MAN has tragically died following a crash on Anglesey.
A 40-year-old local man has sadly died following a collision on the B5109 road between Llangoed and Beaumaris, which happened yesterday afternoon (Saturday, September 25).
At 4.20pm, North Wales Police were made aware of a single vehicle road traffic collision, involving a black Mitsubishi, on the B5109 road between Llangoed and Beaumaris.
Emergency services attended the scene and sadly, despite the best efforts of an off-duty police officer and an Accident and Emergency Nurse from Ireland who were at the scene within minutes, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was re-opened at 9.10pm.
Sergeant Raymond Williams from the Roads Policing Unit said: “I offer my deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time.
“This is sadly being investigated as a fatal road traffic collision. I am appealing to anyone who was travelling on the road between Llangoed and Beaumaris who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage, to get in touch with police.
