THE Isle of Anglesey County Council has invited its tenants to show off their gardening skills by taking part in their new competition.
The council be judging the best home-grown fruit or vegetable patch, as well as the best-kept garden and communal garden.
You can enter by e-mailing a photo to: tenants@anglesey.gov.uk, or through arranging a visit by calling 01248 752200.
The closing date to join in is Monday, September 6, with competitors reminded to include their name, address and contact number when submitting their entry.
A comment from the council on a post on their Facebook page advertising the competition added: “This activity is funded directly from Housing Services’ Tenant Participation Team.
“Under normal circumstances, the housing department would hold summer activities, but to ensure we keep everyone safe, they are taking advantage of the social media platform to get as many Anglesey Council Tenants involved as possible.
“Thank you and good luck.”
