A HIGH number of Coronavirus cases are currently being reported in the Amlwch area.
Anglesey’s Test, Trace and Protect team is responding to the spike.
Between July 1 and 7 there have been 26 positive cases. A significant number of identified contacts are now also self-isolating.
The majority of positive cases are linked to social gatherings and workplace transmission.
A spokesperson from Isle of Anglesey County Council said: "The TTP team will call you via 02921961133 – please make sure you answer the phone. As restrictions are relaxed, it is vital that we continue to follow the guidance and stay safe.
"Please remember to keep: Social distancing (2m); washing your hands regularly; wearing a mask when required; ensuring your home or place of work is well ventilated.
"If you live in the Amlwch area and either you or a family member are experiencing Coronavirus symptoms (see link: https://bcuhb.nhs.wales/covid-19/test-trace-protect/testing-broader-covid-19-symptoms) you should book a Coronavirus test.
"The drive-through testing centre is currently located in the County Offices car park, in Llangefni, which can be accessed via the Industrial Estate Road (opposite ATS Euromaster, LL77 7JA)."
The testing centre is open between 9.30am-3.30pm, seven days a week.
Book an appointment for a test by visiting gov.wales/getting-tested-coronavirus-covid-19 or by phoning 119.
