A CHRISTMAS tree which has stayed in the centre of Bangor since last year is to be removed.
The tree was not taken away because of Bangor City Council staff shortages, but the authority plans to remove it shortly.

Iwan Marc Williams, the Bangor’s City Director said: “The Christmas tree should have been removed by now but it hasn’t due to limited staff resources over the past few months.
“However we are now in the process of removing the tree.”
