The reason behind a gorse blaze near Abersoch is unknown, fire chiefs have said.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a call was received just before 8pm on Friday reporting the incident.
One crew from Pwllheli went to the scene, which a spokesman said involved about 50 square metres of gorse and bracken at Cilan.
The fire service confirmed on Saturday morning that the crew was in attendance until just after 9pm and the cause was unknown.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet to tackle the flames.
