A WOMAN in her 80s is in hospital following a fire at her home.
North Wales Fire and Rescue crews from Bangor and Menai Bridge attended the incident on Ffordd Hendre, Bangor, at 7.23pm on Monday, January 4.
The service were alerted by a monitoring system in the property.
The woman suffered burns and is in a serious condition.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "The fire was confined to bedding.
"The exact cause is being jointly investigated by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police."
