A LARGE amount of timber has been taken from the Mawddach trail, which is owned by the Snowdonia National Park Authority.
Rhydian Roberts, tree and woodland officer at Snowdonia National Park, said 'unfortunately' trees they had cut, had disappeared from site over the last few days.
Speaking [as part of a video] with PC Dewi Evans, of North Wales Police's Rural Crime Team, Mr Roberts said: "I'm concerned they might have been stolen."
The Rural Crime team are investigating.
Anyone with information is asked to telephone 101.
