A CASUALITY who was believed to have broken a leg had to be airlifted from Snowdon mountain.
HM Coastguard was contacted by the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) at around 5pm, on Monday, to request assistance.
The coastguard's search and rescue helicopter, which is based at Caernarfon was sent to help.
It transported four members of the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team to the scene to aid the casualty.
According to a coastguard spokesperson, "weather conditions prevented any further assistance from the helicopter."
Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team were approached for further details, but were unable to comment due to being out on another incident on Tuesday.
