A PRISONER from Caernarfon who had been freed on licence admitted failing to return to jail after being recalled.
William Martin Tate, of Ffordd Ysgubor Goch, was jailed for 15 months last August and released from Altcourse prison in Liverpool a week ago, his solicitor Andrew Scott told magistrates at Llandudno.
Tate, 32, was sentenced to two weeks in custody when he appeared before the court on Friday.
Mr Scott said Tate may now be in jail until September. He had been at large for about 24 hours.
“He’s not made any effort to flee the jurisdiction,” the lawyer added.
