NETWORKING and training events are taking place in the Bangor and Criccieth areas for members of the seafood industry.
Welsh seafood firms are being urged to ‘dive in’ and strengthen their position by collaborating with similar enterprises in Wales.
A forthcoming series of free events, organised by the Welsh Seafood Cluster programme, will give those working in the industry the chance to meet-up and learn from sector experts.
They can also receive training in how best to use marketing and social media to reach their target audience and build their brand.
A North Wales Seafood Cluster networking event will be held in Criccieth on Tuesday, November 27 at 7pm at Dylan's Restaurant.
Guest speakers will be Anne Marie Flinn from the Llangefni-based Food Technology Centre, and Seafish Wales fishing safety officer Lee Haigh.
A workshop will be taking place near Bangor on basic marketing and social media, led by food marketing expert Caroline Hanna.
This will be held on Wednesday, November 28 at 10am at Menter a Busnes, Building, Park Road, Menai Business Park.
