Beloved Father
SILENCE IS GOLDEN
You are my father,
But I do not idolize you simply for that reason,
You earned my respect,
Just by being yourself.
Your presence was everything,
A better father I could never have had.
Your spirit lives on,
This, I have learned.
Life is a jouney,
I searched for you on earth for many a year,
But there is no-one like you,
Or ever could be.
When I stopped searching, I found you.
I feel your presence,
I feel your love,
I feel peace.
My search was not in vain,
I follow in your footsteps
My utmost love, respect and admiration
To a most remarkable man
A man of outstanding integrity
