HOLMES JOAN From Dyserth Passed away at home on 3rd February 2024 aged 88 years. Formerly a teacher of Economics and Business Studies in Holywell High School. Devoted wife to the late Gordon Holmes. Dearly loved mum to Liz & Sue and mum-in-law to Nial. Treasured Nain to Hal, Dan, Ben, Harry & Hannah. Devoted great Nain to Ruby, Evelyn, Ava, Sophia, Xander, Harlan & Gracie. Dear sister to brother David and sister-in-law Janice. A very much loved grandmother in law, cousin, aunt & friend. Funeral service to take place at St Bridget's Parish Church, Dyserth on Wednesday 28th February at 11.30am followed by burial in the church grounds. Family flowers only please. Donations (if so desired) will be gratefully received and split between The Alzheimer's Society and NSPCC. A life well lived with plenty of laughter and very much enjoyed in the company of her family & friends. She will be dearly missed walking around the village with her beloved dog Nemo.
