He was a fine man and a brave Police Officer.
I lost track of him when I left Manchester to work in Gloucestershire.
I have lovely memories of him, especially as we were teamed up as Patrol Officers in the Mill Street Division.
My condolences to the family.
John Holmes of Prestatyn, formerly PC ‘C’ 61.
I was greatly saddened to hear of his passing, especially as I retired to Prestatyn two years ago, and never knew this fine Police Officer lived close by.
Dennis was my mentor, a tremendously dedicated Police Officer and family man, and may he rest in peace.
