KINMEL Bay saw off Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs 3-0 on Saturday (February 18), in a game dedicated to supporting the FAW’s Football v Homophobia Month of Action.
The previous Quarrymen vs Bay match saw eight goals, with the Bay winning 5-3 last year.
But three proved enough for the hosts at Y Morfa this time around in the North Wales Coast East Football League Premier Division.

There were some spectacular aerobatics and fast play throughout the match, with just a few yellow reminders from referee Mark Blench.
In the 17th minute, from Anthony Jones’ corner, Tate Walker threw a flying header into the net to put the Bay ahead.
The second goal came just before half-time when, three minutes after receiving a yellow card, the Bay’s Ethan Evans scored, assisted by Tate Walker.
Their third goal came from Ryan Hulse, assisted by Hayden Rutter, who had just a few minutes earlier replaced Evans.
Rutter had his own chance with a penalty at the end of the match, but this was saved by the Quarrymen’s goalkeeper, Bradley Roberts.
